Two Iran animations head to Animation Nights New York

Anny Animation Nights New York is scheduled to play host to two animations from Iran.

‘The Fox’ by Sadegh Javadi and ‘Who Eats My Friend?’ by Milad Aghazadeh are Iran representatives at the event.

Animation Nights New York will screen its 20 selected films on May 23rd on the sideline of the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival.  

The screening session will be held under the name ‘2019 ANNY Cannes Market Screening’.

Aghazadeh will experience his first international presence while ‘The Fox’ attended various global film festivals before, bringing Sadegh Javadi many accolades such as best short film award from the World Festival of Animated Film in the Bulgarian city of Varna and the same award from the 7th Cebu Int’l Film Festival in the Philippines.  

Animation Nights New York is a curated monthly screening event and annual festival that shows award winning animated short films and virtual reality animation experiences from all around the world.
